The original house is 1970′s very large California Ranch style home. We added an additional 1,000sf conditioned space to the existing 4,600sf home. We wanted to create a George Washington Smith style home and kept the forms bold yet simplistic. The steep slate roof, swooping eaves, and plaster walls transformed this house into a European manor.
